Buying towels by the container load is a different exercise to buying a case for a trial. Carton weight and packing efficiency start to matter — how many pieces fold into a standard carton, how that carton stacks in a container, and whether the size and fold you've specified actually uses the space efficiently or leaves a container part-empty on a fixed freight cost. None of this shows up on a small sample order, which is exactly why it's worth raising before the bulk order, not after the container is already booked.

The sequence that protects a bulk order is the same one regardless of quantity, just with more at stake if a step is skipped: a physical sample approved first, colour fixed by lab dip before the bulk dyeing run, then production against the approved reference, followed by in-line quality checks before packing rather than only at the end. Skipping the lab-dip step on a large order is the single most common way a buyer ends up with a container of towels that technically match the sample but visibly do not sit right next to it.

Customisation scales into bulk orders the same way it does into smaller ones — woven labels, hang tags, branded packaging and carton marking are all built into the production run rather than added afterward, which is both cheaper and more consistent than a separate branding pass on finished stock.
